It’s never easy planning a wedding, and planning a Dallas wedding while living on the east coast is just that much more difficult. But Rayna made it look so easy. Besides being so lovely and ethereal, she is also SO organized. Everything about her wedding was so well thought out, and I loved having plenty of time to photograph her getting ready.
One of my favorite things about Rayna’s wedding was having the privilege of meeting Rayna’s parents when we shot her bridals in November of 2015. Her parents are from China, and while we had the obvious language issues, we somehow managed to communicate. They are such sweet, gentle people, and obviously so proud of their daughter. Capturing their joy on the wedding day was just priceless.
Chad and Rayna decided on a “first look”, and we found a quiet balcony at the Stonebridge Ranch and Country Club to facilitate the sweet moment. Rayna was so relaxed and beautiful in her wedding dress as she approached Chad, and Chad beamed when he first laid eyes on his fiancé.
The wedding ceremony was held on the lush lawn of the club house. Everyone at Stonebridge Ranch and Country Club did a fantastic job making sure the ceremony went without a hitch. The reception was equally gorgeous. Rayna briefly changed into a traditional embroidered Chinese Cheongsam wedding dress during the reception, and she looked stunning.
Thanks so much to Chad and Rayna for allowing me to photograph their wedding day, and I wish them the best of luck as they begin their life together!
